REVOLUTIONARY WAR POWDER HORN

This is a very nice elegantly plain Revolutionary War period powder horn signed DAVID PACKARD with checkerboard engraving around the butt and the name engraved above it.  The horn measures 15 1/2 inches across the curve and 18 1/2 inches around the outside curve.

David Packard from Massachussetts  fserved in the Continental Army rom 1775 to 1783.

Condition:  Excellent.  Three small inactive insect holes near the spout (see send from last pic).
