xxSOLDxx KENTUCKY PISTOL Attributed to John Moll Sr.
18th Century Pistol from the Lehigh Valley
This wonderful pistol has been attributed to John Moll Sr. and is in pristine original condition. The full tiger maple stock has its original "fiddle finish" as is typical of Lehigh Valley firearms. The brass mountings have classic Lehigh features such as triangular shaped sideplate with an arrowhead rear finial, a brass buttplate with a pointed terminal, and the brass triggerguard with the "Lehigh stud". The original flintlock is in untouched condition and is Germanic in stye. It was probably made by Moll himself and has never been converted. The unsigned and unmarked American made .45 caliber octagon-to-round barrel measures 7 1/2 inches. **SOLD**.
Condition: Excellent and original.
