xxSOLDxx. KENTUCKY PISTOL Attributed to S. Miller.
Walnut Fullstock Circa 1815
This large Kentucky pistol is brass mounted with a walnut full stock. The pistol measures 16 1/2" overall with the full octagon barrel measuring 11". The pistol is in its original Ketland & Co. flintlock configuration. The original finish walnut stock has four German silver demi-lune inlays along either side of the forestock. The rest of the pistol is brass mounted, with the sideplate exhibiting the characteristic S. Miller "horns", and allowing an attribution to him. **SOLD**
Condition: Excellent. There is a stable crack running for 5" from the nose cap to the rear ramrod ferrule on the lock side of the forestock.
