Beautiful light weight fullstock Lehigh Valley rifle in original flintlock, with its original sliding wood patchbox cover.  Beautiful deep golden nut brown patina with strong tiger maple throughout.  Brass fixtures with Lehigh County features such as "wrap around" brass sheet nose cap with the end grain of the wood exposed, an iconic brass Lehigh triggerguard with a stud forward of the trigger, and with the forestock being "V" shaped in cross section.. The rifle measures  57 1/4" overall length with a 41 1/4 inch full octagon barrel in approximately .50cal.  **SOLD**

Condition:  Excellent, beautiful tiger maple with old, deep golden brown patina.  Patchbox lid is original.  No wood repairs or replacement on the stock.  The early brass tacks are a restoration.  When the rifle was acquired, there were 7 vacant tack holes surrounding the patchbox,and appropriate early square brass shanked tacks were applied.
