xxSOLDxx KENTUCKY RIFLE signed "S. Miller"

Late flintlock era signed full curly maple stock rifle with brass mountings and three silver inlays.  This rifle exhibits the typical S. Miller four piece brass patchbox with an engraved foliate flourish on its lid and having pierced finial and sideplates.  The full curly maple incised carved stock has no repairs and exhibits a nice old patina.  The triangular sideplate is raised and beveled with S. Miller's  typical "horns".  This rifle measures 57 inches overall with a 41 1/8 inch full octagon barrel.

Condition:  Excellent.  No restorations. The brass mounts have been cleaned in modern times but the stock surface retains a mellow old original surface. Flintlock may be reconverted.
