xxSOLDxx SOUTHERN SHOOTING BAG WITH ACCOUTERMENTS

This is a unique shooting rig probably from Louisiana. This bag is complete and in excellent condition. The shoulder strap is original as are the two knife sheaths, one attached on reverse for a skinning knife, and a small sheath on the front flap for small patch knife, both included. This rig has two powderhorns, attached as well as a brush and touch hole pick with chain suspension. The leather suspension straps are original. The bag has original contents which include a leather pocket book with diary with ink inscriptions by Honore' Bazol in French and an later English inscription inscription stating this pocket book was given to Walter Wiley from his grandfather Edward Bazol. The pocketbook also contains an original Confederate States $50 note. The bag contains original content which includes a tiny penny knife, a hand forged pick and turnscrew tool, matress ticking, tin eyeglass case and glasses, lice comb, cloth ball bag with old lead balls, and a jews harp.**SOLD**
