xxSOLDxx Tool Handle Belt Knife

Nice early "tool handle" knife measuring 10 1/2" overall with a 5 7/8 inch hand forged spear point blade with a 1 3/4" false edge. The tiger maple grip is fastened to the blade with a poured pewter or lead bolster. According to my friend Jim Dressler, this form knife is typically 18th century. It has a well fittiing old associated sheath. **SOLD**

Condition: Excellent for its age and use.  Blade has some mild pepper pitting.
