xxSOLDxxPOWDERHORN Signed and Dated "D Mc March 1800"

Nice cream colored Pennsylvania powderhorn with a modest amount of scrimshaw which includes a couple of four petal daiseys and an owl plus the signature of the owner "D Mc 1800 March" and a small cartouche with what appears to be the initials "AB".  The neatly turned butt is of either oak or chestnut and has a screw-in fill plug.  The horn measures 11 1/2 inches across the curve with the butt being  3 inches in diameter.**SOLD**

Condition:  VG with old patina.  There are two area of "rash" where the horn has wear from in-period use.
