American Sword Revolutionary War Period

Untouched Hanger in Excellent Condition With Remnant Scabbard

Neat untouched American revolutionary war period sword with partial scabbard.  The sword measures 28 3/4inches overall with the blade measuring 24 3/8 inches.  Neatly spiral carved bone grip with brass stirrup guard and a double fuller blade in as found untouched condition.  Circa 1780-1790.  Found in Bucks County Pennsylvania.

Condition:  Excellent as found.  Never cleaned since put away 200 plus years ago with the blade exhibiting a dry multi-layered and multi colored patina, the brass stirrup guard is "in the green" and the carved bone grip has a grungy old original surface with a few ancient and stable surface cracks.
